Andy Ascolese is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from NYC. His debut album ‘Endless Sunset’ is available now on all platforms. Andy is currently on tour playing drums with Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks, and playing piano for Celebrating Meat Loaf - The music of Meat Loaf performed by his official band The Neverland Express plus American Idol winner Caleb Johnson. He also plays multiple instruments with Band Geek that has 30M+ views on YouTube. Andy also plays drums with Kasim Sulton/Kasim Sulton’s Utopia.
As a touring musician, Andy has performed on stage in bands Blue Öyster Cult, One Vision of Queen starring Marc Martel, Nine Days, MorningStarlett (featuring Richie Castellano of Blue Öyster Cult), X-Davis, J-Freak (featuring members of Maggie’s Dream), Dana Athens and along side musicians such as Rudy Sarzo (Dio, Ozzy, Whitesnake), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N Roses, Sons of Apollo), Angus Clark (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Joe Lynn Turner), Matt Beck (Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas), Jesse Gress (Todd Rundgren, Tony Levin Band), Chris Clark (BRAND–X), Paul Crook (Anthrax, Meat Loaf), John Miceli (Meat Loaf), DW Wright (Jill Scott, The Roots), Danny Miranda (Queen) and more.
As a songwriter, Andy has been writing, recording and releasing songs since he was a teenager. Andy has released many albums of original material with bands Progeny, The Royal Guard, MorningStarlett and Richie Castellano. Most recently Andy was part of a team, with Richie Castellano and Chris Clark, that wrote and recorded an album with Jon Anderson (Yes) entitled “True” that will be released on August 23, 2024.
